2009 was our Annus horribilis. On January 4th 2009 we had a fire at our company's Registered Office. Fortunately no one was hurt, however a combination of fire and smoke damage irrepairably damaged much of our computer equipment, digital data and paper records. Much of the year we have operated from hotels and rented accommodation. The fire and subsequent displacement have caused us many challenges. Our team have worked really hard minimise the disruption and we are grateful for their hard work and committment. They have risen to the challenge and we have survived. We would like to take this opportunity to give a really big thank-you to our staff, customers, suppliers, friends and associates for all the assistance they have offered us during this difficult period.

Guaranteed Listings' website is still undergoing a major upgrade, this work has been seriously delayed due to the fire. Investment in new software, research and development have continued apace throughout 2009 and the results being achieved for our customers are amazing. The website will go through two revisions; one to upgrade the public facing pages; and one to redevelop the existing customer interface.

Choose-Broadband much like Guaranteed Listings is in the midst of a major overhaul. Despite the fire and associated disruption we have begun migrating some of our existing clients to the 21st century network (21CN), enabling Choose-ADSL to provide the latest communications services. This new 21CN is a more robust platform ensuring our customers experience an even smoother and more reliable broadband service. 21CN also allows higher speeds for a wide range of bandwidth-hungry information services including Voice over IP (VoIP) and high bandwidth video over the internet. Work continues.

Our company continues to implement long term strategies and to develop new business and consumer solutions growing our generous business portfolio. Hopefully 2010 will be our Annus mirabilis!
